la 31 300x147 Training♦ Collaborated with the President of Ocean County College and his Executive Team to develop and implement a Leadership Retreat. During the one-day program, the Executive Team participated in a competitive and fun team building activity of sail boat races which served as a platform for discussion around the program topics of: Leading vs. Managing, and Exemplary Leadership Practices that leads to more of a participative and collaborative culture. This was followed by strategic discussion on their vision for Ocean County College.

♦ Requested by a Regional Vice President of GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals for the development and implementation of a skill-based program that improved the District Sales Manager’s ability to confront performance issues more effectively. The custom designed program, Confronting for Results While Maintaining the Relationship, provided the knowledge, skills and behaviors for effectively understanding and the ability to confront others in a firm and purposeful way.

♦ Collaborated with the Manager of Learning and Development at PPG Industries to design, develop and implement the program entitled, The Practice of Leadership for their emerging leaders. This custom designed program has become a core development program within their Leadership Development Curriculum and has been implemented at various company sites around the country.

♦ Upon the request of the Director of Organizational Development at PPG Industries, we created and implemented a program entitled, Leading Change and Transitions for their Industrial Coatings division that needed to improve their capabilities in leading their people through change.

♦ As an outcome from the program on Leading Change and Transitions, the Industrial Coatings division realized that they needed to develop a strategic vision for their organization. We were contracted to facilitate and lead the members through a process that crafted a clear and compelling vision for a better future.

♦ Partnered with the National Sales Director and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at the emerging biotechnology company, Neurocrine Biosciences, to create their selling skills platform entitled, Real World Selling. The strategic intent of this training initiative was to position a common selling philosophy and language that would begin to unite and bind their new sales force and contribute to the creation of their new organizations’ culture. In conjunction with the Sale Skills workshop, we developed a Coaching Skills workshop for the managers to coach the Real World Selling process with their sales representatives.

♦ The Manager of Management Development at UCB Pharma has employed us to design, develop and implement a series of leadership and management development workshops as part of the strategic positioning of their newly created UCB Pharma Leadership Development Curriculum for Sales Management. The workshops included: Visionary Leadership, Conflict Management and Assertive Leadership.
